Oh my what a year it has been with the sweetest and most kind hearted boy I know! It has been a great year for Lawson on all fronts. Lawson has taken each new step in stride.... he loves Jesus, his family, school, sports, outdoors, hunting, fishing, the lake... the list could go on and on. Lawson never ceases to amaze me with the amount of love and empathy he has for others and how "others first" he is. That has been his personality since the beginning and my prayer is that those traits would not disappear as he grows and so far it hasn't. He generally cares about what others are feeling and their wants before his own. These traits are what got him the PTO Excellence Award for the 1st nine weeks and he was thrilled to receive it. With the sensitive side also comes some big emotions. I think with time Lawson will figure out how to deal with those and toughen up a bit but for now, I love my boy just the way he is!
