Lawson's Dino Party - Happy 1st Birthday!

Today's extra special because you turn ONE! We'll eat cake and ice cream ad have lots of FUN! It seems like just yesterday you were brand NEW! And now, there are so many things you can DO! We'll light your first candle and make a big fuss to be sure that you know you are precious to US! Today's extra special because you turn ONE! And the best thing of all is - your life has just Begun! I really enjoy creating and coming up with my kids birthday parties. It is a lot of fun for me but also a lot of hard work. Tremendous amount of time and effort go into planning all of the details and making sure that everything is taken care of throughout the course of the party.  For Lawson's 1st birthday party, I decided that a dino themed party would be appropriate. Happy Birthday Sweet Boy!

I know I say this all the time but it really is true! Where has the time gone?? As I look back on this last year, I am in awe about how much has transpired over the last year. This last year has flown by and as a family we have encountered a lot of change which has made the time go even faster. There were moments when I felt like I wasn't able to enjoy Lawson as much because of all the stress associated with separating from the military and transitioning to life in San Antonio. But we have been tremendously blessed this last year and I think our biggest blessing by far is Lawson Erick! When I think about waking up early on April 4, 2016 to eat and drink my last meal prior to my c-section, I remember being a nervous wreck.
