Happy Father's Day to the Best Dads Around!

During Mother's Day last year, I wrote what I appreciated about each of my three moms. Over the years, I have been very fortunate to have fantastic role models in my life and for this Father's Day, I decided to do a tribute to each of my dads. The meaning of the word dad means more than just a person or thing. I have been very fortunate and blessed to have many significant male figures in my life. From each of you, I have learned life lessons and gained qualities that I would not otherwise have if it were not for you being placed in my life. Daddy: Daddy you are truly one of a kind. Over the years you have sacrificed a lot for Malorie and I. I can't even imagine the amount of hours you have spent in the car driving back and forth to Houston so that we can spend the weekend together. Amah

Amah I have been meaning to post this several weeks ago but I never got around to it. Now that school has officially ended and I have time on my hands... I wanted to tell you my favorite memories of Amah. Growing up, I always loved going to Grandad and Amah's house at Christmas time. They had the best Christmas scene set up on their jacuzzi. It came complete with characters skating around the frozen pond, houses lit with electricity, and people set up in different scenes doing Christmas things. The houses had moving parts and had so many intricate details. I can remember sitting there watching the scenes with my cousins and being told repeatedly not to touch anything. It was like you were watching TV because something new was added every year and you could never possibly see everything with just one glance.
