It is hard to believe that the holidays have come and gone. Generally I feel like that every year but this year was especially fast. Finishing up renovations on the house, moving out of the rent house, moving into our new home, meeting new friends, parties, celebrating the birth of Jesus and ringing in the new year, has made me one tired mama. At the beginning of the month, we began our transition to life in San Antonio. The kids and I were by ourselves most of the month while Landon completed his remaining work days in the US Navy. Landon finally separated right before Thanksgiving and my time as a single mom finally came to a close. Praise God - I have so much respect for moms who parent by themselves day in and day out. Although the time we spent apart went by relatively fast, there were definitely some days that I was pulling out my hair and wanted to cry in the corner. I think the stress of moving, opening a business and Landon and I being apart has definitely taken a tole on us...
