LUDWICK LIFE

It is hard to believe that it has been one year since I started this blog. I remember starting this blog when the chapter of my life in San Antonio was coming to a close. I was excited about what the Lord had in store for me and especially my wedding day! I am actually sitting at my desk at work while my kids take the Chapter 9 test over Polynomials (I will be impressed if anyone knows what that is). I should be working on other things but I decided to update you on a few things that have been happening in our lives. 1. I passed the high school certification test!! I did a lot better than I thought I did. It was the hardest certification test I have had take and I have taken 6 including this one. I really thought I failed and was worried about the repercussions of this since my school paid for the test and I was technically teaching without a certificate. I still don't know if I will have this job next year but I think things are looking up. There are days when I ha...

For the most part our house is complete except for the occasional blank wall and the need for extra light. Landon and I are so blessed with parents and grandparents who are willing to assist us in the process our filling our home with wonderful pieces of furniture that will last us a lifetime. The one last piece of furniture that we needed were dining room chairs to go with the Belgium table that Dad and Becky gave us. Well after looking across multiple states and going to auctions, Land and I stumbled across them this week before we took Mom and Paul to the airport. They are perfect!!! They go so well with our decor and especially our table. Thank you so much Honey and Poops for the beautiful chairs. Hopefully you will be able to see them in person soon!!! We love you!!!

Spring Break is upon us!!!! I do not believe that it is necessary to say that you are suppose to spend your break outside and in shorts under the sunshine. Well that was not the case at least in our neck of the woods. We spent the majority of our week in sweaters and jackets and in the wind and rain. Although some sunshine was brought from Texas with the arrival of my mom and Paul. Landon and I picked them up at the airport after to work only to find that they had started their vacation early at Tailspin - the airport bar and took a roadie in the car. The trip can be summed up to a week of eating out at our favorite places in North Carolina. We ate at our favorite eateries. We went to the Pilot's House, Just Baked, Deluxe, and Bluewater Grill - just to name a few. We also went to Britt's Donuts which was a highlight in the trip.
