We Officially Have a Walker

My little love bug is officially walking.... he took him a little longer than I expected him to but it didn't bother me. I think he just had a lot of work to do as far as being able to balance himself and once he picked that up, he was off. Now I definitely have my hands full with 2 toddlers running around in public places! Check out his skills below - Lawson is still working on getting the hang of steps and stairs but I am sure in no time he will pick that up as well. It is really cute though because he will stop and wait for me to help him when he comes to a step that he doesn't know how to traverse. At least he has learned how to prevent himself from face planting. Sweet boy!! One thing is for sure, he doesn't like to be carried around near as much as he did before. Lord help me!!

Landon's Big Decision and Day!

This last weekend was really busy and we almost didn't make it to church on Sunday morning because we were exhausted. I volunteered all weekend and Landon and I were in Utopia with Dr. Cribbs and his wife at their property and Laurel Tree for dinner on Saturday. We didn't make it home until almost midnight. But we got up and out the door and made it to the 8:30 service in record time and I am sure glad we did.  It was Baptism Sunday and Max gave a sermon that I could tell would speak directly to Landon as soon as he started. Landon has been contemplating several things regarding baptism over the last few years. He was baptized as an infant and decided that he wanted to get baptized again. It is not my story to share but I wanted to tell everyone how excited I was for him when he told me that he wanted to do it. This wasn't planned and not even on our radar which I think makes it even more special. Not to worry our church was prepared with clothes and towels for those w...
