Believe It Foundation Dinner (August 26, 2019): On August 23, 2019, Lowery had a developmental specialist appointment. We had to see a new one due to his prior specialist leaving the practice. I wasn't sure what to expect at this appointment but knew it was going to be a big one. The appointment went well but we left there with confirmation of what we were originally concerned with - cerebral palsy. **** This post was written throughout our journey through foster care as a journal documenting the ways GOD showed up big time!  This last year (2019) in my small group women's bible study, we began the study of Jonah. One main point of the study is that Jonah experienced a divine interruption when God told Jonah to go to Nineveh - something he did not want to do at all but he ultimately changed the course of his life to follow God's will. The book discusses Jonah's life and how his story changed a nation and made an eternal impact for generations of people. I have been able to relate this story to my present day life and my experience with fostering in so many ways. For as long as I can remember, it has been placed on my heart to adopt in someway or some fashion.
